Who is HFBR?

Hope and Faith Based Reform (HFBR) is a Houston-based nonprofit organization, founded by Teressa Marshell Spearman. HFBR is dedicated to supporting system-impacted individuals through housing assistance, educational information, financial literacy, reentry support services & more services on a case-by-case basis. HFBR focuses on recovery, accountability, workforce readiness, financial literacy, educational teachings, and coordinated referrals to community partners. The goal of HFBR is to change lives by the reduction of recidivism, promote long-term stability through a fact-checked curriculum, and foster independence through disciplined, trauma-informed programming.
